Moakley Park Field looks great today. But let's go back to 2016.
The field was worn out. Brown, dry and hard.
In the spring, it was muddy and uneven. The grass was sparse even before the playing season began.
New England Land Management (NELM Corp) removed the old surface, regraded for better drainage,and added fresh topsoil.
Using the full range of heavy equipment, manpower and lansdcape expertise ...
... resodded with healthy, resilient grass.
And an irrigation system to keep the grass heathly even in hot summer months.
Today Moakley Field is nicer, safer, and a great place to have fun.
